Vols’ coaches monitor other targets and five-star players from……

The staff of Tennessee coach Josh Heupel returned to the road on Tuesday in order to make the most of the final contact window before National Signing Day. The Vols had to change some of their travel plans due to the wintry weather in several states, but they continued to check in on their players from coast to coast.

Heupel went to Providence Day School in Charlotte, North Carolina, with Tennessee offensive line coach Glen Elarbee. David Sanders Jr., a five-star offensive tackle in the Class of 2025, attends Providence Day School. Following two visits to the Vols since June, the 6-foot-6, 270-pound Sanders—who is rated by 247Sports as the No. 2 overall recruit in the 2025 class—is expected to return to Knoxville on Saturday for their first junior day of the season, according to sources.

On Tuesday’s list of top performers, we had a few players that were selected again, and our Alpha Dog was on the ball’s defensive end. We had hoped to have a few more linemen available, but neither team was able to complete a 1 on 1 play.

There are just nine defensive linemen out this week as a result of a few no-shows owing to flying problems, and the coaches decided to postpone one-on-one until Wednesday due to injury concerns. Additionally, because we had conducted a separate QB analysis, we did not include quarterbacks on Tuesday’s list.

After being recognized as a top performer on Monday, Beasley had yet another fantastic day and was awarded Alpha Dog status for us. He simply makes so many plays in the secondary. During a 7v7, he had the play of the day when he made a diving interception. With his athleticism as a cornerback, he is a safety who can play in any scheme and on any play. According to the Top247, he is ranked as the 162nd player in the country and seems like a good stock-up candidate.
