Noah Toster, a Division II wide receiver transfer, joined South Alabama’s roster on Monday. He will play in 2024.
The 6-foot-5, 195-pound Toster joins the Jaguars from Chowan (N.C.) University, where as a true freshman in 2023, he caught 31 passes for 473 yards and a score. The native of Apex, North Carolina, has three seasons left to be eligible.
Toster is the first player to join the South Alabama squad through the transfer portal this cycle, although he is not the first since Major Applewhite took over as head coach when Kane Wommack left. The following players are also new to the Jaguars program: kicker Laith Marjan (East Carolina), defensive tackle Bryston Dixon (Georgia Tech), offensive lineman Malachi Preciado (Purdue), defensive back Lardarius Webb Jr. (Oklahoma State), and tight end Andrew Bench (Bowling Green).
