The Alabama Crimson Tide’s new year hasn’t been easy. Not the greatest beginning was the Rose Bowl loss on New Year’s Day to the top-ranked Michigan Wolverines. Their famed head coach Nick Saban steps down after nine days. There is optimism that Kalen DeBoer, the new head coach of the Tide, can significantly improve the program. There is hope, even though it might not be the same immediate success that Saban provided in 16 of the 17 years in total. For fans of Alabama, the most important thing is to have patience and believe that the squad will be rebuilt through recruiting and the Transfer Portal in light of the multiple departures. At Washington, BeDour was one of the most sought-after coaches to play for. His recruitment field multiplies fast at Alabama. Having some well-known players on the roster does assist.
