
Even though the St. Louis Cardinals have finished adding players to their starting rotation, there are still some interesting choices available.
After adding three starting pitchers this offseason, St. Louis appears to be in a lot better position than they were. The Cardinals signed Sonny Gray, Lance Lynn, and Kyle Gibson in order to fulfill their stated goal of adding three pitchers.
While there are still several elite pitchers available, including as Blake Snell and Jordan Montgomery, St. Louis cannot currently afford them.
Despite this, St. Louis might benefit from adding even more depth because there are still several mid-tier possibilities with upside. Starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard, a former member of the New York Mets, Los Angeles Angels, Philadelphia Phillies, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Cleveland Guardians, is one pitcher that fits this description well.
