Four former Alabama football players are vying for the AP NFL Awards.

 

As per the report by Rob Maaddi, a senior NFL reporter for the Associated Press, Ryans, Gibbs, Anderson, and Tagovailoa are among the finalists for NFL Coach of the Year, Offensive Rookie of the Year, Defensive Rookie of the Year, and Comeback Player of the Year. In the 2023 season, all four led their clubs to the postseason. The Detroit Lions, led by running back Greggs, are playing the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game. For the Tide, all four names served as ornamental players.
