All-American rookie running back Ezavier Crowell plans to visit Tennessee.

As we all know, the Tennessee Volunteers have taken great satisfaction in building early relationships with national recruits, even though their current priorities are the 2025 class and bringing gifted prospects into the boat. Since those initial connections and financial commitments have paid off over time, we can infer some ideas about the coaching staff’s future preferences in the months that follow early national signing day.

Though it’s a bit early to be considering the class of 2027, college football is like that. Following an outstanding rookie year, Tennessee became the eleventh program to join running back Ezavier Crowell’s offer sheet on January 19, when he received an offer from Jackson High School. Crowell announced his Tennessee offer, and soon after, he set a February 3 date for his first visit to Rocky Top. The Vols have also offered 2026 defensive back Jamarrion Gordon, his teammate, who will travel with him. Last offseason, the Vols also had an unofficial visit by quarterback Landon Duckworth from Jackson High School; but, they did not extend an offer to the South Carolina commit.
