Briggs, a left-arm spinner who joined the Bears from Sussex three seasons ago and has taken 122 wickets, has signed a contract that will keep him here for an additional year. The 32-year-old leads all English T20 cricket wicket takers in history.
His total in the domestic short form game is 254, which he reached with his 14 Vitality Blast wickets for the Bears last summer. He is currently approaching 300, and he would adore celebrating that accomplishment with the Bears.
