On Tuesday, Alabama football announced the dates of its 2024 homecoming and A-Day spring game. April 13 is the date of Kalen DeBoer’s first A-Day practice as head coach of the Crimson Tide.
This is the fifteenth and last spring football practice for Alabama. It’s going to be at Bryant Denny Stadium, as usual.
Alabama will make other A-Day announcements later.
The Alabama vs. Missouri game on October 26 is scheduled for Homecoming. The Tide and Tigers will play for the first time since UA’s 38-19 victory in Columbia to start their most recent national championship season in 2020.
Since then, the Tigers have been developed by head coach Eli into a competitive squad that has won 11 games, including the Cotton Bowl in 2023. In that game, Missouri defeated Ohio State.
The last 21 homecoming games have been won by Alabama. Despite facing several obstacles, the Crimson Tide managed to defeat Arkansas 24–21 on homecoming last year.
For the first time since 2006, Saban won’t be leading the Tide for A-Day and the entire season in 2024. After he retired on January 10, DeBoer took his place.
In 2023, the Huskies made it to the national championship game thanks to the former head coach of Washington.
