Washington assistant William Inge to follow DeBoer to Alabama, per reportsistant William Inge to follow DeBoer to Alabama, per reports

Another familiar face from Kalen DeBoer’s past is joining Alabama football. Several media sources announced on Monday night that William Inge will be working for DeBoer in Tuscaloosa.

50-year-old Inge has worked as DeBoer’s coach at Indiana, Fresno State, and Washington. He served as the linebackers coach, co-defensive coordinator, and associate head coach for the Huskies for the previous two seasons. John Brice of FootballScoop first revealed the information, saying that Inge is “expected to work with linebackers.” Inge is qualified to fill the post of special teams assistant, which Alabama also needs.

According to rumors, Inge would be DeBoer’s tenth and last on-field appointment. Even though the program hasn’t formally announced any hires, a number of them have either updated their social media profiles or sent farewell letters to their previous schools. Inge might become one of the former Washington coaches who, like DeBoer, has moved to the Southeastern Conference, along with Ryan Grubb, JaMarcus Shephard, Scott Huff, and Nick Sheridan.
