Dallas was considering interviewing Whitt for the position of defensive coordinator following Quinn’s departure for the District. On Monday, the team had an interview set. Whitt chose to take the Commander’s position in its place.
⦁ Whitt and Quinn have a past together; Whitt worked with Quinn with the Atlanta Falcons in 2020. When Quinn was let go by the Falcons in 2020, their first season together came to an end. In 2021, Whitt moved to Dallas to work as Quinn’s defensive coordinator, following his former employer.
