
During Super Bowl weekend in Las Vegas, Jordan Love and Micah Parsons reunited for the first time since their playoff matchup. During the Wild Card weekend, the Green Bay Packers faced the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium.
The Cowboys were defeated by the Packers 48–32, forcing them to relocate. In the win, Texas native running back Aaron Jones put on an incredible display, gaining 118 yards on 21 attempts and scoring three touchdowns. However, Jones had an impact on the game that was not mentioned during the broadcast.
Love abruptly interrupted Parsons’ “The Edge” show to claim that Jones was winging his pass-blocking against the Penn State product.
Love said,”He (Jones) would feel you beat one of our offensive linemen and his instinct would just go chip you (Parsons) and help in protection.”
In response, Parsons said, “It was amazing. I thought, “There’s no way he’s supposed to accomplish this,” throughout the majority of those inside rushes.”
The quarterback, who is 25 years old, responded, “No, he wasn’t, and that’s just the type of guy he is, right now, in the NFL. to be able to pick you up and assist, and to be aware of how skilled a rusher you are. If he hadn’t done that, give me some time to go back there because there were a few of them. I’m not sure.
