It appears that most people agree that the Browns require a new stadium. Although there are a lot of things to settle on, such as where and what will be erected, it is probable that it will happen. The latest story regarding the Haslam ownership group’s acquisition of land adjacent to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport reignited the debate over whether the Browns should build a dome or not.
What do you think about a domed stadium for home games? We would love to hear from our readers. We also believed that it was crucial for certain of our employees to express their opinions:

I won’t claim to be an expert in economics who can weigh the advantages and disadvantages of a dome stadium in general. I certainly believe that hosting a number of events, perhaps even a Super Bowl, would be awesome. Even though my knowledge of economics is limited, I am aware that a stadium with a dome costs far more than one without one. It seems like straightforward research could be conducted to determine whether more events might cover the cost and make the dome worthwhile.
