Even if the Los Angeles Lakers would have been better off making no trades at all, the trade deadline was a huge letdown for the team. Los Angeles was expected to be actively involved in improving the team, but they made the decision that maintaining the status quo was better than taking a risky action. The team will now proceed with the players in the locker room, and you can’t hold the front office responsible for their thought process. Guard Spencer Dinwiddie, who is expected to contribute more points to the team, and Los Angeles were able to come to an agreement on the buyout market.

It can be difficult, though, to avoid glancing at the players who were actually traded throughout the league. Dennis Schroder, a point guard, was reportedly interested in rejoining Los Angeles.
