SUMMERTIME: The Toronto Raptors player and his spouse have made a wonderful addition to their family.

The former Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood star, 32, and the professional basketball player, 24, have had their first child together, the new mother disclosed on Instagram Tuesday.

On Wednesday, July 19, the couple welcomed their baby, LaVelo Anthony Ball.

“And then there was three 👶🏼,” she captioned a trio of images, one of which shows the baby boy holding Mudarris’ fingers while she holds Ball’s hand with her other.

“My kid, you have given me a purpose in life. I pledge to love, lead, protect, and be there for you every step of the way. I pledge to teach you what is right and wrong and to be the best mother I can be,” she added.

“I love you so much; you changed my universe and make my heart so full and complete. I’ve never felt more in love with you than I did the moment I saw you. I am so grateful to have you and that you chose me as your mother.”

Mudarris wrote to Ball, “Thank you for being so supportive of me, especially during my labour. It was hard, challenging, and long, but you were with me every step of the way encouraging me and reassuring me that I could do it, which I did.” I could not have done it without you by my side. I adore you and am grateful to be able to share this experience with you and raise our son together; he is just wonderful. I’m quite grateful to have “You both .

“This is only the beginning of the best chapter yet…” 👩‍🍼👨‍👩‍👦😍,” the new mother concluded.

The pair previously revealed in April that they were expecting their first child exclusively for PEOPLE. “We’re both so excited about becoming parents, we spoke about having a life and kids when we first met, our goals, dreams, life we wanted & then it really happened,” the newlyweds said.

“We can’t wait to meet our baby and begin this new chapter together,” she said. “It’s super exciting for us both being first-time parents and getting to experience everything together.”
