After making an appearance in the Western Conference Finals in 2023, the Los Angeles Lakers aren’t performing up to par.
Going into the 2023–34 season, the Lakers had great expectations because the Western Conference seemed to be wide open.
The Lakers’ defeat at the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night dropped them to 7-8 in January and 24-25 overall. Right now, they hold the eighth position in the West.
At the age of 39, LeBron James outperformed the Hawks in back-to-back games, finishing with 20 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists. James has a player option for the future season.
