The Crimson Tide of the University of Alabama is now recruiting in more than just football. More than just in sports.
You are now reading what may be the best recruiting tool ever thought up by a university.
High school band members are invited to register and experience a day with the Million Dollar Band on A-Day, the spring football game. They can march beside, sit beside, and play along with the MDB.
Be in the Million Dollar Band for a day. A-Day.
The annual A-Day football practice game will be on Saturday, April 13. Where? Of course, at legendary Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa. It’s The Crimson vs. The White. It’s also your first chance to get a look at new head football coach Kalen DeBoer in action.
Here is the invitation posted on Facebook. Get it to anyone you know who is in a high school band or has children/grandchildren who love their band. It links to details and instructions for playing with the MDB on AWhat a day it is going to be.
On April 13th for A-Day, you may join the Million Dollar Band for a game day adventure!
The current Million Dollar Band invites high school kids (grades 9–12) and Million Dollar Band alumni to sit with them during A-Day. At the “Walk of Champions” ceremony and in the spectators throughout the game, participants join the current MDB members in cheering and musical performances. This is a fantastic way to see behind the scenes on an MDB gameday.
