When he committed in March 2022, Iamaleava – the top Class of 2023 recruit in the country, according to On3 – made national headlines for both his vow and his NIL opportunities. According to The Athletic, Iamaleava has agreed to a three-year contract with Spyre Sports Group worth $8 million.
Iamaleava ultimately announced a NIL agreement with The Volunteer Club in late January. Spyre Sports Group’s NIL collective provides monthly membership benefits to Tennessee student-athletes. As part of his agreement with the club, Iamaleava will attend at a number of events and promote the organization on social media.
Iamaleava revealed on social media that he has joined with Force Factor, a health and wellness supplement firm, in a NIL deal facilitated by Spyre. It’s his first national NIL arrangement since attending Tennessee, and it will place Iamaleava in front of the company’s hundreds of thousands of social media followers.
In the video, Iamaleava encourages viewers to shop for Force Factor items at Walmart and “unleash your potential.” He says he uses the company’s goods, such as Total Beets, before every workout. In the advertising, Iamaleava wears a Tennessee-style orange shirt similar to what the Volunteers wear during games.
“All of these have helped prepare me for who I am today,” Iamaleava says, dropping armfuls ovIamaleava rejected offers from nearly every major college football program in favor of Tennessee. He instantly validated the Volunteers’ recruiting efforts, assisting Vols coaches in assembling the remainder of the school’s 2023 recruiting class.
Iamaleava immediately rose to prominence as a potential face of the Tennessee football program. He landed in Knoxville in December and spent two weeks practicing with the team before the Orange Bowl victory. His new NIL contract is another example of the impact Iamaleava has had in Knoxville.
