BREAKING: WWE icon Virgil dies at 61 after a terrible health struggle.

Wrestler Virgil, who spent time in WWE throughout his long career, died at the age of 61.

Mark Charles II delivered the news, and information about Virgil’s health issues have been revealed. Virgil, actual name Michael Jones, worked in the WWF and WWE, among other promotions, throughout his long career.

My dear friends, it is with great sadness that I inform you that our beloved Michael Jones, also known as Virgil, Vincent, Soul Train Jones, and others, has died. “Virgil died quietly in the hospital this morning, and I ask that you pray for him and his family. “May his memory be eternal!”

According to Wrestling News, Jones was diagnosed with dementia in 2022. Prior to that, the wrestler, who started his career in the 1980s, reportedly had two strokes.

Following Virgil’s death, many wrestling fans shared messages and recollections. “R.I.P. Virgil, he’ll be missed,” said one, while another simply said “Sad news”.

Others provided movies and photographs of significant occasions throughout Virgil’s career. These featured a 1992 title fight with Bret Hart, who managed to keep his world heavyweight belt.

Virgil rose to prominence in WWE’s antecedent, the World Wrestling Federation, where he spent the better part of a decade on the roster. He appeared in three Royal Rumbles and in Wrestlemania VIII.
