Rebecca Ann Cleary, the daughter of Lila C. Cleary and Dennis J. Cleary of Folsom, Calif., was married Wednesday to Elizabeth Ann Brewster Stribling-Kivlan, the daughter of Elizabeth F. Stribling of Brooklyn and the late William C. M. Kivlan. Edwina M. Townes, a staff member of the New York City Clerk’s office, officiated at the Manhattan Marriage Bureau.

Ms. Cleary (left), 43, until 2014 traveled around the United States and Canada as a senior software-training specialist for Granicus, a software-service provider based in Denver. She specialized in legislative-management software that creates webcasts and archives meetings in government jurisdictions and school districts. She graduated from San Francisco State University, from which she also received a Master of Arts in industrial arts.
Her father retired as an English teacher from Howell High School in Howell, N.J., and as an adjunct professor from Ocean County College in Toms River, N.J. He also retired as a partner in ERA American Towne Realty in Toms River, where he primarily sold land to local developers. Ms. Cleary’s mother retired as an independent real estate sales agent for home developers in the Sacramento area.
