Former Tennessee Volunteers linebacker Jalen Reeves Tennessee is now one of the NFL’s most valuable players.
That’s because the former Vol was chosen president of the NFLPA (players’ union) on Friday.
Reeves-Maybin, who is now a linebacker/special teams ace for the Detroit Lions, previously served on the NFLPA executive committee. He succeeds JC Tretter as the NFLPA’s president.
Reeves-Maybin, who played at Tennessee from 2013 to 2016, was a fourth round selection by the Lions in the 2017 NFL Draft.
