Trey Lipscomb Gets the Call to The Show ...

Trey Lipscomb, a former Tennessee Vols baseball player, was promoted to the major leagues shortly after the start of the 2024 season and is already making an impact for the Washington Nationals.

Lipscomb, who is from Maryland, is hitting.265 with one home run and four stolen bases in his first nine MLB games.

Three of those stolen bases occurred on Monday evening during a game against the San Francisco Giants, including one at home.

Lipscomb had three hits and three stolen bases against the Giants on Monday, making him the first Nationals rookie to ever do so.
The former Vol is also the first Nationals rookie to steal three bases in a single game since the team moved from Montreal to Washington, D.C. in 2005.
