Belleair, Florida — At the Pelican Golf Club, Tennessee women’s golf concluded the first of three rounds of the SEC Championship on Friday.

The Lady Vols, led by senior Kayla Holden, shot 20 over (300) and enter the second round on Saturday in 13th place. Holden shot 1-over (73) and finished the day in 35th place with three birdies.

Manassanan Chotikabhukkana, a sophomore, converted the par-5 14th hole in three strokes, one of the three eagles of the day. At 2-over (74), the native of Thailand is tied for 39th place.

With a 4-under par on par-5s, Tennessee had the second-best team score.
