Dylan Parham. He is the only guard on the Las Vegas Raiders roster who has played more than 100 snaps at the offensive line position group as of right now.
In contrast, Ben Brown and Jordan Meredith, the other two guards on the team, saw very little action. Meredith played 92 snaps overall and made one start in 17 games with the Raiders in 2023. Brown, on the other hand, saw action in just one game during the previous season with the Seattle Seahawks, totaling eight snaps.
If it’s not the clearest indication yet that the Silver & Black are ready to add more talent to that specific position group, I don’t know what is.
At left guard, Parham participated in all 1,042 offensive snaps for the team and was a staple up front in 2023. And it is once more anticipated that the Raiders offensive line core will be led by the third-round pick (90th overall) in the 2022 NFL Draft. On the opposing side of the line, Greg Van Roten, a 34-year-old free agent, started at right guard and played 1,025 plays (98 percent of the offensive total).
The date is January 14, 2012. We are in San Francisco at Candlestick Park. The 49ers need a touchdown with 14 seconds remaining, down three, and facing a third down to maintain their hopes of making the playoffs without having to go to OT. In the meantime, the Saints can draw a conclusion from this and move on to the NFC Championship Game. We need to look back in time to comprehend how we got here and to fully appreciate what this moment signifies.
Although Las Vegas may eventually turn to another veteran available on the free agent market or maybe the Van Roten well, it seems like reinforcements at the guard position will likely come from the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft. And if the Raiders plan to take that way, it’s not a bad move.

Raiders outlook for 2024: Are you comfortable with Thayer Munford starting in that year?
From the first round to the subsequent stanzas, there are players who fit the negative attitude head coach Antonio Pierce is looking for from his desert marauders. Additionally, they might be interesting choices to strengthen a position group that is severely lacking in individuals if they are available when Las Vegas is operating.
