Tennessee gaveย Sidney Walton his second SEC scholarship offer when he visited the Vols for the first time more than five months ago. He has continued to make the trip to Knoxville on a regular basis since then.
Theyโre still one of the teams standing out most to the Class of 2025 defensive back from Moody (Ala.) High School coming off his latest visit to Tennessee. The Vols hosted him again Feb. 3 for their first junior day of the year, and he said โtheyโre in my top fiveโ among the more than a dozen teams pursuing him.
The 6-foot-1, 187-pound Walton landed an offer from Tennessee on Sept. 9 during his visit for the Volsโ home opener Sept. 9 against Austin Peay. He returned to Knoxville for their games Oct. 14 against Texas A&M and Nov. 18 against Georgia, and he said he enjoyed seeing a different side of Tennesseeโs program while attending its junior day.
