Since Harbaugh assumed the main quarterback role, the Baltimore Ravens have been on the verge of winning the Super Bowl.
The former Heisman Trophy winner joined an exclusive group of quarterbacks by winning his second NFL Offensive MVP award as the season came to an end.
However, no QB has ever won two MVP awards at such a young age. As the quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, Jackson accomplished this feat in just six seasons—just three of which he spent as a full-time starter.
With just two interceptions in his final six regular-season games, Jackson completed his career with 14 touchdown passes, helping the Baltimore Ravens win the AFC North and earn a first-round bye. Throwing just seven interceptions and 24 touchdown passes, he concluded the regular season with career highs in passing yards (3,678), completions (307), completion percentage (67.2), and average yards per completion (8).
Even though Jackson’s accuracy and pocket presence increased, he was still a dynamic runner who frequently forced tacklers to miss. With 821 yards rushing on average, Jackson lead the Ravens and all NFL quarterbacks in this category.
