CMo Is Mashing Christian Moore, a junior infielder, is having an SEC Player of the Year-caliber season. He extended his stellar play last weekend as UT defeated Kentucky on its road series. After hitting four home runs against the Wildcats over the weekend, including a program-record-tying three in Sunday’s series finale, Moore leads the team and is eighth in the SEC with a career-best 19 home runs going into this week.

The product of Brooklyn, New York, has led the SEC in hits (33), home runs (13) and RBIs (28), making him perhaps the finest hitter in conference play. Moore also passed Blake Burke as the top in Tennessee’s career home runs with 46 after his three-homer day on Sunday.

The SEC Player of the Week award went to Moore.
