KNOXVILLE, Tennessee – During the NCAA DI Women’s Golf Regional Selection Show on the Golf Channel on Wednesday afternoon, Tennessee women’s golf was revealed as the seventh seed in the Bermuda Run NCAA Regional.

“It’s a good regional site for us,” the Lady Vols’ third-season head coach Diana Cantú stated. “We have beaten some of the top-five seeds this year, so if we put three good rounds together, we will have a good chance of making it through.”

The Bermuda Run Golf Course in Bermuda Hills, North Carolina, will host the regional from May 6–8. The top five teams from each regional and the best player who isn’t on a team that advances will play in the NCAA Championship at Omni La Costa.

The history of Tennessee at the NCAA Regionals
The Lady Vols are making their 30th NCAA Regional participation overall with this, their second straight. Vanessa Gilly tied for ninth place in the previous season’s Westfield regional after Tennessee finished tied for seventh place with a third-round score of 67.
