The new NFL uniform for theis a huge success.
Supporters came to Detroit’s home stadium to see the unveiling of the entire uniform, even after Fanatics leaked it hours before a season-ticket member event at Ford Field.
Supporters bought the new uniform at the event and online following Sheila Hamp, Dan Campbell, and Rod Wood’s appearances.
It’s safe to assume, too, that they’ve gone over well, according Sports Illustrated. The night the jerseys were introduced, the Lions made over $1 million in sales from both online and the stadium store. On the night of the release, 5,400 black jerseys were sold at the team’s pro shop alone, so props to Campbell.”
Most of the evaluations have been positive, with fans praising the team’s previous uniform’s contemporary style.
The Lions president Rod Wood said Albert Breer, “The main thing is we wanted to honor our colors with a modern twist.” We had grown weary of the gray jerseys.
And with the home jerseys, we wanted to go back to the block white numbers. The current ones looked cool, too, but it was hard to see the numbers if you were sitting in the stadium. So this was a way to honor the past and make them better for the fans.
