During the previous season, Jalen Milroe and the Alabama Crimson Tide faced the Michigan Wolverines head-to-head.
In the College Football Playoff semifinal between the Tide and Wolverines at the Rose Bowl, Michigan prevailed over Washington to win the CFP national championship.
Despite the fact that he was mainly contained by a strong Michigan defense, didn’t throw a touchdown, and didn’t rush for a touchdown, Milroe doesn’t seem to be all that upset now that the offseason is well underway.
Milroe remarked, “It don’t matter, they won” (h/t On3). “They prevailed. Nothing matters; they prevailed.
It’s obvious that the Alabama quarterback is choosing the right path. This is true even though Michigan was accused of cheating during the previous season, including a possible sign-stealing scheme that former head coach Jim Harbaugh was unaware of.
Additionally, there was the annoying incident involving recruitment during a COVID-19 dead time, which resulted in the NCAA placing the school on a three-year probationary period with penalties, recruiting restrictions, and show-cause agreements for individuals who did so.
That is, agreements for all parties involved, barring Harbaugh, who left town to join the Los Angeles Chargers.
“One former coach did not participate in the agreement, and that portion of the case will be considered separately by the committee on Infractions, after which the committee will release its full decision,” the NCAA said in a statement.
Even if the NCAA hasn’t made a final decision about Harbaugh, let’s put Alabama above anything else.
At Alabama, a new day has begun. Former Washington coach Kalen DeBoer is the new head coach at Tuscaloosa after Nick Saban announced his retirement.
