Josh Heupel, the head coach of the Tennessee Volunteers, provided an update on Cameron Seldon’s injuries. Entering the next season, Tennessee running back Cameron Seldon is ranked No. 2 in the Vols backfield. During his true freshman season, he showed promise, accumulating 25 carries for 106

yards in four regular-season games and a lengthy performance in the Citrus Bowl. But he had surgery earlier in the offseason, so the start of the season is likely when he will make his comeback. Tennessee has faith in their room, which is why they haven’t added a running back via the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Josh Heupel, the head coach, updated the media earlier in the week on Seldon’s improvement and his projected comeback date for this season.

Heupel said, “Everything in his rehab process has gone incredibly well.” He’s done an excellent job of adhering to our medical team’s requests while remaining within their parameters. We anticipate that he will stay healthy throughout the summer and be prepared for action when it starts.”
