BERMUDA RUN, North Carolina: As the seventh seed in the Bermuda Run Regional, Tennessee women’s golf will compete in its 30th NCAA Regional on Monday.
The 54-hole competition will take place over three days, and the top five team scores will go on to the NCAA Championship, which will take place in Carlsbad, California, from May 17–22. There will be six competitors from non-advancing teams at the NCAA Championship.
For the first time since finishing ninth in the SEC Championship and missing the quarterfinal cut by two strokes to LSU, the Lady Vols will be participating. They had the greatest team score during the last two rounds, following a sluggish first round. The Lady Vols need to place among the top five in their area for the first time since 2015–16 in order to proceed.
