Following Tennessee top-100 list, NFL Draft 2025 class projected a New Roster…

Tennessee players who could be picked in the 2025 NFL Draft

Despite having 22 seniors in football this year, only one player from Tennessee is in the top 100 players for the 2025 NFL Draft class. Even though the Vols did not choose any players in the first round this year, we may see another Tennessee player selected in the top 10 in 2025.

Only one Vol, junior edge rusher James Pearce Jr., made the Pro Football Network’s top-100 list this year. As the eighth-ranked talent overall, he might be selected in the top ten picks in the upcoming draft. It has been predicted that he will rank anywhere from tenth to first in the rankings.

Cummings ranks Pearce as the second-best edge rusher in the upcoming draft class. He criticizes Pearce’s size once more in advance of the following year’s draft, but he still has a full year to build the muscle required to be a productive pass rusher in the NFL.

The only edge rusher who is ranked higher than Pearce in the top 100 and edge rusher rankings is Abdul Carter of Penn State. Two slots ahead of Pearce, Carter is presently ranked as the sixth player by Cummings.

Pearce is ranked somewhat higher by ESPN. He is currently making fun of himself for selecting the Carolina Panthers with the fourth overall pick in the 2025 draft. According to ESPN’s prediction, Carolina will drop from No.

While it’s exciting to see another Tennessee player projected in the top ten, we’re still a long way from next year’s NFL Draft. A lot can change from now to next April, with an entire season of college football still ahead of us. Pearce could add size, continue to improve his game, and be considered the best player in next year’s draft by the time April rolls around.
