
On Thursday, Buffalo welcomed a new face to the team’s locker room. The Bills and safety Dee Delaney have agreed to a one-year contract. He’s going to wear 29.
Delaney’s final stop was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he played for three seasons (2021–2023). The safety had two interceptions, five passes defensed, 25 total tackles, one tackle for loss, and participated in 17 games (two starts) in 2023.
Delaney also lived in Jacksonville in 2018 and Washington in 2019. The former Buc has accumulated 71 total tackles, three tackles for loss, seven passes defensed, three interceptions, and three tackles for loss in 52 games over his five-year career.
The Jacksonville Jaguars signed Delaney as an undrafted free agent in 2018. The safety was a collegiate athlete at Miami and The Citadel. Beaufort, South Carolina, is his hometown.
