
KNOXVILLE, Tennessee – Play in the NCAA Knoxville Regional at Lindsey Nelson Stadium begins on Friday, when the top-seeded Tennessee Volunteers set out on the Road to Omaha.
For the second time in program history, the Big Orange begin the tournament as the top overall seed; the only other occurrence occurred in 2022. Tennessee wins the SEC Tournament title as well as the regular season championship, same like in 2022.
The No. 4 seed in the Knoxville Regional, Northern Kentucky, which won the Horizon League tournament last week to secure an automatic berth, will be the Vols’ opponent in their first postseason matchup

All baseball season ticket holders in Tennessee were given the option to buy postseason tickets for any home games. For the 2024 season, all of the season tickets were sold out.
Public tickets for single sessions with standing room only will be available for purchase in a restricted quantity.
the Lindsey Nelson Stadium ticket window opening ninety minutes before each session’s first pitch. Furthermore, Lindsey Nelson Stadium will provide free entry to the first 300 students for every postseason game.
INFORMATION ABOUT PARKING AND ROAD CLOSURES
Road closures will be in place for the entire tournament in an effort to reduce traffic and provide a safe environment for all spectators and personnel attending this weekend’s regional. On Friday, May 31, closures will take place, and the only way to enter is with a current NCAA parking pass.
