Trade News: Kinsey Fiedler Signs with Lady Vols

KNOXVILLE, Tennessee – Kinsey Fiedler, a former Washington Huskey, has signed with Tennessee softball head coach Karen Weekly, the team announced on Friday (FEED-lur).

“We are thrilled to welcome Kinsey into the Lady Vol softball family,” stated Weekly. “Kinsey is a demonstrated leader and winner. I adore the fierce competition she brings to the field each and every day. Her ideals and character are a wonderful fit with our curriculum, and I am thrilled to have her on board.”

Fiedler, a rising senior, is a professional.92 runs scored, 23 home runs, and 71 runs batted in with a 283 batting average. As a left-handed batter, her lifetime slugging percentage is.530, her on-base percentage is.397, and throughout the last three seasons, she has stolen 27 bases.

A versatile athlete, Fiedler has played in the infield and outfield during her time in Seattle – appearing at every position except for pitcher and first base.

A native of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, she played in 150 games – making 143 starts – with the Huskies. In 2023, she helped guide Washington to the Women’s College World Series – its first trip to Oklahoma City since 2019.
