Giants and Titans Communicate With Juwan Manigo of the UFL…
Many of the players from the 2024 UFL season have already signed NFL contracts. Juwan Manigo, a return specialist, might be the next to do so.

The Giants signed Jacob Saylors last week, continuing their offseason strategy of adding players from the spring league. He’ll
fight for a spot in the backfield, while Manigo would be included as a candidate to take over as the starting returner. The latter’s route to an NFL roster will undoubtedly be via third phase contributions, as he did not contribute to the Renegades’ offensive output. Parris Campbell was a kick returner for New York in 2023, but he left in free agency. The Giants’ main punt returner from the previous season, Gunner Olszewski, re-signed in March.
According to Payton and colleague Sam Phalen, Manigo has also communicated with the Titans. Tennessee is still looking for a primary returner, and there are several possibilities
this offseason thus far. Among them is former first-round pick Treylon Burks, whose summertime special teams play will be crucial to his chances of staying on Nashville’s roster.
Manigo is five feet seven inches tall, so if he signs an NFL contract before training camp, he will undoubtedly have height concerns. Nevertheless, more returns are anticipated as a result of the league’s revised kickoff regulations, and the play will receive more attention in 2024. Manigo will try to emulate Cowboys returner KaVontae Turpin, who recently found success as an undersized player after playing in a spring league. The Giants ($11.5MM) and Titans ($24.3MM) both have the cap capacity to sign him.
