A procession and downtown festivity are planned. The march will begin at Gay Street Bridge at 6:15 p.m. and proceed along Gay Street, arriving at Market Square. Watch WVLT on the air and online—check out the WVLT News app, where we’ll be streaming the parade and festivities in their entirety.

Vol supporters should go to the Vols’ citywide celebration, which will take place after the game. However, several downtown roadways will be closed due to the festivity. According to city officials, the roadways close to the procession route—from the bridge to Wall Avenue—will be closed starting at 6 p.m. This is so that crews can get ready for what should be a busy occasion.

In reference to getting ready, on Tuesday morning, decorations began to appear in Market Square.
