Like the football team, the LSU basketball team is working out in the summer to get ready for the next season. In an effort to maintain Matt McMahon’s recruiting momentum, the team has also been actively welcoming 2025 recruits to school.

Since Will Wade’s recruiting violations have resulted in a scholarship cap, Matt McMahon and the LSU basketball team have already shown us how creatively they can assemble their roster by using walk-ons. Noah Boyed, a Juco transfer, was added by the squad as a walk-on, and it looks like Will Wade will have access to another option besides a scholarship.

One name on the LSU basketball squad that could be recognizable is Trey’Dez Green, who plays forward and is ranked number eight. Given that Green committed to play tight end for LSU football, the true freshman probably sounds familiar to those who are focused on football recruiting.
