Tennessee Vols move in door to door celebrating college world series final victory…

Over the years, the Tennessee Vols have gained a reputation for being raucous and having a good time—to the annoyance of some and the delight of others. It’s likely that those same individuals will be smiling, clapping, or snarling and complaining about how much fun Tony Vitello’s Vols are continuing to have after defeating Texas A&M 6-5 on Monday night in Omaha to win the national championship.
Players and coaches of the Vols made their way through a sea of orange spectators during Tuesday night’s championship parade through downtown Knoxville. It looks like there was beer consumed outside the float.
First baseman Blake Burke swiftly signaled with his hand for someone toss him a can in classic Stone Cold Steve Austin way. The crowd cheered when Burke snatched the drink, or what seemed like a beer, cracked it, and tossed it as far as possible into his mouth.
Burke’s portrayal of the former WWE champion was spot-on, though it’s unclear if that was his intention all along. Austin’s trademark maneuver was to give a one-finger salute and then order and down a beer after delivering his finisher, the Stone Cold Stunner, on a rival wrestler or a member of the McMahan family. That, of course, made the man also known as the Texas Rattlesnake very well-liked by the general public that watched and attended wrestling matches.
