Kirt Releases Schedule for Tennessee Soccer in 2024
Head coach of Tennessee soccer Joe Kirt revealed the Lady Vols’ schedule on Wednesday morning. The schedule features games against three conference winners from 2023 and seven teams who are eligible to compete in the NCAA Tournament.

Tennessee seeks to build on a 2023 season that saw them make it to the NCAA Tournament’s second round for the tenth time in program history under Kirt’s leadership.
“We are excited to announce our 2024 schedule,” Kirt stated. “With a great and deep squad that is slated to play against the top teams in the state and the nation, our staff is excited to get back on the field. Regal Stadium is excited to have people return, and we’re prepared to get Fall slate work is in progress.”
The exhibition match against Virginia on August 7 will mark the start of the 2024 season. On August 11, an exhibition match against UNC Asheville will take place at home. On August 15, UT will travel to Indiana to kick off the regular season. The remaining non-conference games will be played at home against Chattanooga (Aug. 18), Lipscomb (Aug. 25), UCLA (Sept. 5), Florida Atlantic (Sept. 8) and Memphis (Sept. 12); two more away games will be played at ETSU (Aug. 22) and Duke (Sept. 1).
The Lady Vols will host five teams in conference play at Regal Stadium: Vanderbilt on September 29, Ole Miss on September 19, Missouri on October 4, Auburn on October 13, and South Carolina on October 24. On the road, the Big Orange will take on Alabama on September 22, Florida on September 26, Arkansas on October 10, Georgia on October 18, and Kentucky on October 27.
Seven of Tennessee’s games are against groups that qualified for the 2023 NCAA Tournament. The defending champions from the PAC-12 (UCLA), AAC (Memphis), and SEC (Arkansas) will also play the Lady Vols.
Six of the clubs that UT will face in 2024 are those that finished in the top 25 of the United Soccer Coaches 2023 rankings.
For the third time, the SEC Tournament will take place in Pensacola, Florida.
in as many years, having previously been held in Orange Beach, Ala., for 18 of 19 seasons. The conference tournament will begin on Nov. 3 and run through Nov. 10. The first four rounds of NCAA Tournament action will be hosted at campus sites, with the NCAA Women’s College Cup set for Dec. 6-9 in Cary, N.C.
