Mills, who hails from St. Ignatius College Preparatory in San Francisco, is an imposing figure at 6-6 and 320 pounds. He visited Texas officially on the weekend of June 14 after visiting Nebraska, Cal, Washington, and Florida. He also received offers from schools like Michigan, Penn State, Tennessee, USC, Utah, and many others.

Ranked by 247Sports as the 38th offensive tackle and 40th overall player in the class, Mills joins a 2025 Texas recruiting class featuring notable four-star recruits such as defensive lineman Lance Jackson, linebacker Elijah Barnes, quarterback KJ Lacey, running back James Simon, and tight end Emaree Winston. Sarkisian and his staff have already secured commitments from offensive linemen Devin and Jordan Coleman.

The Longhorns are now aiming to add elite five-star talents like receivers Dakorien Moore, Kaliq Lockett, Jaime Ffrench, and offensive tackle Michael Fasusi.
