The Michigan football recruiting summer has been fruitful. June began with the Wolverines having committed just five players overall from the 2025 recruiting class.

It’s been a productive summer for Michigan football recruiting. The Wolverines started the month of June with just five commitments total in the 2025 recruiting class.

However, the Wolverines knocked it out of the park in June and with official visits. Since then, a class that ranked outside the top 50, ranks in the 2025 class according to the 247 Sports team rankings, which are according to the 247 Sports composite rankings.

But in June, the Wolverines absolutely dominated with official trips. Since then, the 247 Sports team rankings—which are based on the 247 Sports composite rankings—have shown that a class that placed outside of the top 50 ranks 12th overall in the 2025 class.

Since June 1st, Michigan football has committed to 12 games. Three-star wide receiver Phillip Wright, who committed to the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday, is the most recent of 11 players in the 2025 class. Brady Hart, the outstanding 2026 quarterback, is the other commitment.
