Meleek Thomas, a rising senior ranked in the top ten, wrapped up his official visit to Connecticut last month. Thomas, a 6-foot-4 scoring guard from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who will attend Overtime Elite to complete his high school education, claims that Dan Hurley respects the similarity in their personalities.
Regarding Connecticut, Thomas remarked, “It was a great visit and I feel it could be a good spot for me.” “Coach Hurley and I both believe that I am among the top players in my class. He believes my playing style and his coaching style go together. I had the impression that everything was falling into place during the stay. In many ways, his personality and mine were similar. He thinks that I am a better fit for his style than most athletes he signs.
