Tennessee Baseball HC Tony Vitellos wins Best Baseball coach of the season in 2024

KNOXVILLE, Tennessee – The Tennessee women’s tennis team has a new member, Elim Yan, who signed as a freshman, according to head coach Alison Ojeda’s announcement on Thursday morning.
With four years of remaining collegiate eligibility, the Adelaide, Australia native and Marryatville high school graduate will join the Lady Vols in 2024–25. Yan will join Catherine Aulia as the second Australian in the 2024–25 team.
Yan arrives at Rocky Top having amassed a strong international junior tennis resume. Her most recent victories were in the J2 ITF Thailand Doubles and the J3 ITF Gallipoli Youth Cup. Yan was also a finalist in the U18 Australian Nationals singles and doubles in 2022 and a semifinals in the U18 Australian Nationals doubles and singles in 2023.
In 2023, Yan was crowned the South Australian 18s Player of the Year.
Yan is the seventh signee officially announced for the 2024 recruiting class for Tennessee, joining Maeve Thornton, Vanesa Suarez, Natalia Perez, Conley Raidt, Brooklyn Schafer and Saray Yli-Piipari.
