Wednesday Update: As hurricane Debby makes landfall on the Panhandle on Monday, storms could develop….
As Hurricane Debby approaches our area of influence, the flood watch and minor risk of severe weather are lifted.
In South Florida, Monday is expected to be a warm and muggy day with temperatures close to ninety degrees and a mix of clouds and sun.
MORE WEATHER: Hourly, 7-Day, Radar, Alerts, and Forecast
Sporadic storms continue across the area, but leftover moisture from Debby will allow us to potentially see some larger downpours.
Sometimes, especially close to the coast, southerly winds can reach gusts of up to 30 mph. From three to five feet, and occasionally up to six feet, rough seas are predicted.
Our winds pick up and the likelihood of rain decreases to 40% on Wednesday. The temperature will rise into the low to mid-90s with an SSW wind.
From Wednesday through the weekend, the likelihood of rain is almost normal for this time of year.
