FOX Carolina’s Greenville, South Carolina With the formation of Tropical Storm Ernesto, rain and wind are predicted to reach Puerto Rico, followed by hurricane conditions in Bermuda.

Headed to Puerto Rico

For St. Kitts and Nevis, Antigua, Barbuda, Anguilla, Guadeloupe, St. Martin, St. Barthelemy, and Sint Maarten, a tropical storm warning is in place. This indicates that somewhere within these regions, tropical storm conditions are anticipated in less than 36 hours.
Puerto Rico, Culebra, Vieques, British Virgin Islands, and US Virgin Islands are all expected to experience tropical storm characteristics. This indicates that during the following 48 hours, tropical storm conditions could develop.

After passing close to Puerto Rico, the storm is predicted to pass across the Leeward Islands before turning north on Wednesday or Thursday. Anticipated to shift northward and intensify into a hurricane by late week, with potential effects to Bermuda by the weekend.
