Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena last night. The evening’s activities, which included an homage to Keith and a benefit concert, were centered around honoring his legacy and generating funds for his OK Kids Korral. Several of Big Dog Daddy’s greatest singles were performed on stage by the long list of country music celebrities. Lainey Wilson and Jamey Johnson, for example, collaborated on “Beer for My Horses.”
Wilson and Johnson gave fans at the arena a duet they didn’t know they needed until they heard it. The “Watermelon Moonshine” singer took the first verse before passing the lead to her partner. Johnson’s booming voice complemented Wilson’s vocal delivery. This was most evident when they came together to belt out the chorus. Watch the fan-shot video of the performance below.
