Donald Trump came under fire from Celine Dion for utilizing her song “My Heart Will Go On” at a campaign rally without getting her consent or support.
“…And really, THAT song?” The management team of Dion made a joke, which sparked jokes on social media about how the Trump campaign was using music from a sinking ship movie.
The song was played by Trump at his Friday rally in Montana.
Canadian singer Celine Dion criticized former US President Donald Trump on Saturday for utilizing her song “My Heart Will Go On” at his campaign event in Montana without getting her consent or support.
“This use is not authorized in any way, and Celine Dion does not endorse this or any similar use,” a statement from the singer’s management team said on her X account.
“…And really, THAT song?” Dion’s management team quipped, spurring mocking social media posts about the Trump campaign using music from a movie about a sinking ship.
