Breaking  News : It is predicted that the next tropical system will avoid the United States.

Tracking map shows storm curving north and away from the U.S.

The National Hurricane Center is keeping track of what it believes will become the next hurricane by the end of the week, which is expected to inflict extensive flooding over Florida and the larger Tampa Bay region.

While the system is traveling in a similar direction to Debby, analysts predict that it will shift northward and away from the United States.

Over the weekend, a potential tropical cyclone 5 emerged in the Atlantic.

Puerto Rico and other Caribbean islands are under a tropical storm watch, and by Monday, the system may strengthen into a tropical depression.

It was located around 940 miles east of San Juan, Puerto Rick, as of early Monday morning, and it was traveling at a speed of 25 miles per hour west.

Given its current tra jectory, it should

approach Puerto Rico, and the U.S. and British Virgin Islands, by Tuesday night.

What’s forecast to become Tropical Storm Ernesto — and eventually a Category 2 hurricane by the end of the week — will then turn to the north and track toward Bermuda, away from the U.S. coast.
