Enjoy the sunlight anticipated for the UK before the effects of the hurricane
According to the Met Office, Somerset is expected to have a beautiful weekend before the UK experiences further unrest the following week.
Right now, the jet stream splits into two branches: one near northern Scotland and the other in southern England. Due to their location, the most of any rain or showers will fall in France or the UK’s far north, and a weak high pressure ridge will provide mostly dry weather for much of the UK.
According to the Met Office, Friday is expected to be a pleasant day for most people. It will be mild in the southeast but colder, windier, and cloudier in the northwest, with some showers.
The majority of the region will be dry on Saturday with sporadic clouds and sunny intervals; the southeast will have the most sunshine and temperatures that are still a bit above average and feel warm. The rest of the country will see typical wintertime temperatures, with the northwest experiencing lower temperatures.

Deputy Chief Meteorologist David Oliver of the Met Office stated: “On Monday, there will be changes in the jet stream that will bring an Atlantic frontal system toward the UK.” Over Monday and Tuesday, this will bring gloomy, damp, and windy conditions to a lot of places, with high winds possibly in the north.
